Trend: The majority of students do not finish the course at their first attempt.
Reasons: Student does not show up to class. Absences are not penalized. Late registration.
Currently: We have 5 students passing out of 32 registered.

Proposal: Eliminate after-school virtual course. Award teacher stipend of $100 to mentor a student that passes. No time limit. Teacher can mentor multiple students.
Budget for Proposal: We have budgeted $1300 per session from rollover dollars with 3 sessions held during the regular school year (this does not include summer) for a yearly cost of $3900. To date, we have spent $1300 this school year.
Rationale: We would guarantee that 100% of 39 students would pass their class for a budget of $3900. Seniors would be able to sign-up throughout school year instead of waiting for a new session to start.
